Making and Tinkering Affinity Group Meeting

  • Microsoft Store 3309 Esperanza Crossing Austin, TX, 78758 United States (map)

Are you an educator who is interested in starting Maker activities with your students? Maybe you're already running a Makerspace and want to share your knowledge and meet other makers. Join us for a laid-back meeting where we network with Austin's Maker Educators and find out how we can support each other.

Topics that we will discuss include:

  • Reporting back from SXSW - There was lots of Maker buzz at SXSWedu and Interactive. We want to make sure we're keeping that momentum alive into the spring.
  • Austin Maker Faire - Coming up in May, 2015, we'll discuss how you can be involved with the Maker Education space at Maker Faire and develop more plans for our amazing Armadillo Educator Passport (thanks Casey and TechShop!)
  • Who else should be here? - We want to make sure we're reaching a diverse group of representatives from the Maker Education community in Austin. Bring a friend and let's talk about who else to invite to future events.
  • Whatever else is on your mind!

Stop by at any time during the meeting to join the discussion. If you have questions, feel free to email Emily at eweerts@nucleuslearningnetwork.org
